The Manta Bed, at the same time graceful and imposing, was inspired by the experience of swimming with a school of 15-foot Manta Rays off the coast of Hawaii. Made of premium materials including solid wood in blackened oak, solid heirloom brass ferules and caps, high-quality leather (by-product), and sustainable Belgian linen. Every detail has been thought of from the overstuffed yet graceful, pillow-like headboard to the padded leather wrapping the sides and foot rails. Also available in COM and COL.

Their scale and elegance were a perfect marriage for what I was trying to achieve with the design of my client’s bed. Also, as a mother and concerned citizen, toxicity and environmental impact are always a consideration for me so being careful and selective with the materials was primary. ”
